About Us
The group was originally established in the Hampton Roads area in March 2007 then called San Antonians of Virginia. All the members are members of larger organizations such as the United Ilocano Association of Tidewater (UIAT) and Zambales Association of Tidewater (ZAT), but this tight knit group of friends decided they wanted to help more indigent children from their hometown. The group organized several fundraising events to be able to sponsor different children who applied for the scholarship. As the numbers grew from two students to six students over the years, the members became very excited and started sharing the news with their friends and comares and compares from the same town. Thus began the recruiting of members from all up and down the East Coast and the creation of East Coast San Antonians.
